Aeracura Silken Windhounds is a small kennel located in Central Arizona, that does not breed often. We are a family kennel and thus the puppies are exposed to all things family. These litters will be exposed to the Early Neurological Exercises (ENS) and Early Scent Introduction (ESI) and as well as small to medium sized children, parks , car rides, other dogs, and many different experiences to give them the best start possible as they move on to their forever homes. Every breeding is carefully considered and researched, every parent will be health tested before breeding for eyes, heart and thyroid. Puppies will be MDR1 and CEA tested and micro chipped before placement.
No placement decisions will be made prior to 8 weeks old when they will be evaluated for structure, movement and temperament. As the breeder, I have final say in placement decisions.
Since I do not breed often, I do not keep a waitlist between plans, however I am always willing to answer questions and direct folks to other breeders who may have puppies available. If you are local, I am also always willing to meet folks so they can meet the breed.

2024 Litter Plans
We are very excited to announce these possible plans. I won’t be taking applications until we have puppies on the ground. This litter should produce some lovely sweet and fun temperaments, with food and toy drive as well as structurally sound, balanced and clean movers. While Idris does not play running games competitively, she has loads of food and toy drive. Captain loves playing running games and has proven himself competitive on the field as well as a sweet, fun, and easy keeper at home. Captain and Idris complement each other nicely overall. We also have plans in the works for late Summer/Fall 2024 litter with River. The stud will be officially announced sometime Summer 2024. We are very excited about this litter, however, there likely won’t be much availability.
